2025 School Planning
If your family plans to relocate by the end of the year, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible. The number of students enrolled directly affects our class structures and planning for 2025.
The easiest way to inform us about your move is by calling or emailing the school.
Moving into our school zone?
Do you know any families considering a move to our area? Please encourage them to contact our school at their earliest convenience. This will ensure we can include them in our upcoming planning.
Enrolling at our School
Families new to the area can begin the enrolment process by visiting Online Enrolment Application (nsw.gov.au)
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us plan effectively for the upcoming school year.
Enrolment Policy
In line with the departments commitment to supporting an equitable and outstanding public education system, the Enrolment of students policy has been updated to create more equitable access to NSW public Schools.
The NSW Department of Education is committed to ensuring that every student learns, grows and belongs in an equitable and outstanding public education system.
In line with this commitment, the department is changing the enrolment policy to support students and families to have more equitable access to NSW public schools.
The changes will apply to enrolments commencing in Term 1 2025.
Under the changes, all temporary resident students in our intake area will be entitled to enrol at our school. Enrolment and tuition fees will also be waived for regional students on Temporary Skills Shortage (subclass 482) visas.
We will prioritise non-local enrolments for siblings of students currently enrolled at our school.
If you have already submitted an enrolment application for your child for Term 1 2025, you can apply or reapply to enrol your child at our school from 25 October 2024. If your child has been accepted into another school for 2025, you will need to contact that school to withdraw their enrolment.

Week 10 | Monday 16 December | Stage 2 Party Day – Hoyts Charlestown – Moana 2 |
Term 4 is upon us. Although it is only Week 2, the students have done plenty of great learning.
Students in 4R have been learning how to write informative texts, in particular procedures. They each had to write their own instructions on how to draw a determined picture. The importance of clear and concise wording was soon evident.
Hunter and Arnold are pictured below with their delicious recipes. If you need a suggestion on how to make smoothies or hot dogs, these boys will have you sorted.
Miller has been practising his multiplication facts. Being able to quickly and accurately recall multiplication and division facts is a very handy skills to have especially when learning about division and fractions.
Mathematics has been very hands on with students using a variety of measuring tools such as scales, tapes measures and trundle wheels. Below are some pictures of 3/4O and 4N learning how to estimate and measure mass and length.
